For those of you who will be coming to town on the Snow Train, transportation is available upon request. (Please call to inquire)

had a great last minute ski trip, very reasonable rates, when skiing all day just need a place to shower and sleep. had dinner which was good and reasonably priced for light fare. would be nice if they offered a breakfast, very close to Gore mountain less than 10 minute drive.

I rode my Harley up to North Creek in the summer of 2012 to visit old friends and long lost family. The folks at Black Mountain Lodge couldn't have been nicer and the room was just fine. If you want pampered don't come here. It's rustic, no AC, dirt parking lot, and no real amenities. However, this is the north country. The Lodge serves wonderful meals and will direct you to Marsha's for a great breakfast in the Creek. I am going back up this summer and will be staying at the Lodge again. Hope to see you there.

I have stayed at the Black Mountain Lodge numerous times. Every time has been a great experience. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great food. Can't wait to go back!

Went skiing at Gore, stayed at the motel. Had a great experience, rooms were comfortable, clean, and priced right. Located within 5 minutes to Gore. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is fabulous and the food is delicious. Recommended it to two friends who are going this weekend! Definitely a must for skiiers.

My husband and I stayed at the Black Mountain over the Christmas break and we had an amazing time. Very close to Gore Mountain and a great dinner when we returned after a day on the slops. The staff was very kind and attentive to all of out needs. The room was clean and check in could not have been easier. They even gave us a glass of wine on the house when we arrived! We were very pleased with our stay and are looking forward to staying again very soon. Thanks to everyone at the Black Mountain!

Great location, close to our white water rafting adventure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food at the onsite lodge was excellent, no need to travel anywhere else to a meal. Great place to stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Black Mountain numerous times last season and can not wait to go back. The staff and owner Marion are wonderful! Our room was perfect and very clean. The best part about the whole experience is the restaurant! By far the best food in the north country. Don't miss out on the chili and anything on the chief's nightly specials list is a must! I am doing my snow dance daily hoping for snow and lets be serious, a reason to go back and visit the Black Mountain !!
