Cottage in Benson

The Cottage is ideally located for easy access to all your favorite summer or winter activities. The Great Sacandaga Lake boat launch in Northville is 5 minutes away and Lapland Lake, Nordic Vacation Center is 10 minutes down the road.

There are 2 bedrooms, a sleeping alcove, 1.5 baths, a living room, enclosed porch, kitchen, dining area and mud/laundry room. It offers great comfort for relaxing or a perfect location for day tripping. All linens are provided & the kitchen is fully equipped.

Enjoy the sounds of the Sacandaga River while relaxing on the deck or sitting on the porch. Step out and view the river's changing character while sitting at the riverbank or walking the lightly traveled 3+ mile dead-end street.

Seasonal or weekly summer rentals begin on Saturdays & enjoy preferred pricing. Shorter stays of 3 or more nights are based on availability. Winter seasonal or monthly rentals begin on Fridays and enjoy preferred pricing. Shorter stays of 2 or more nights are based on availability. Maximum accommodations for 5.

The Cottage in Benson and the Cabins in Hope, its sister property, each offer distinctly different accommodations while both offering the same ambiance.

My family including adult children and grandchildren, stayed at the Cottage in Benson during the hottest week of the summer. It has many amenities including a fan in every room which made our stay very comfortable. The cottage is one of many surprises with a complete kitchen, very clean and roomy and breezy.
There is shopping, good food, lake activities and exploring the river within five or six minutes from the cottage.
A great time was had by all!

We met some friends here for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The cottage had more than everything we needed. Very clean and well kept. We could all really enjoy being together again without worrying about any cottage issues. Many fun activities to do within a 5 minute drive. We plan on staying here again for sure!

My family including 2 adult children recently stayed at the Cottage in Benson. The cottage is very roomy and had all the amenities we needed including a well equipped kitchen. The pellet stove kept us warm and cozy and the location was excellent for cross country skiing at Lapland Lake. We would definitely stay again at the cottage when visiting the area.
