Garnet Hill Lodge is a four season Adirondack Inn / Resort in the Adirondacks of New York--a summer vacation destination and a complete cross country skiing center in winter. Garnet Hill's Log House Restaurant continues a 50 year tradition of providing guests with a memorable dining experience. In the spring, enjoy white water rafting on the Hudson River - Garnet Hill Lodge is only 10 minutes from several rafting companies and special B&B rates are available.
Summer is another special season on 'the Hill' - our private beach on 13th Lake is easily accessible and canoes and kayaks are available for guests to enjoy some lazy paddling. Hiking the trails is also popular -- visit the old Hooper Mine and dig for garnets; spot a moose on the William Blake Pond trail; or try the light climb to Peaked Mountain. A tennis court and mountain biking are other activities for you to enjoy.
In the fall trees turn shades of amber, russet, garnet and ruby-red. The weather is comfortable and the hiking is amazing.
