Built in the tradition of the Adirondack Great Camps, Garnet Hill Lodge is a four-season destination resort overlooking pristine Thirteenth Lake. Discover our spectacular mountain views, distinctive accommodations, superb cuisine, and outdoor fun.
Garnet Hill Lodge is a four season Adirondack Inn / Resort in the Adirondacks of New York--a summer vacation destination and a complete cross country skiing center in winter. Garnet Hill's Log House Restaurant continues a 50 year tradition of providing guests with a memorable dining experience. We are also a unique resort/meeting facility away from the interruptions and distractions of city life. At Garnet Hill we know that successful meetings depend on privacy and productivity.
Featured accommodations include comfortable, king size balcony rooms that overlook 13th Lake and the surrounding mountains, spacious family-size rooms that sleep up to six people in The Birches, and for a more secluded experience enjoy a queen or king size room in the Tea House with a jet tub.
When you come to Garnet Hill Lodge, whether for your first time or your 20th, you are part of the family. Guests enjoy the welcoming and social atmosphere of the Lodge, which naturally brings people together. Lifetime friendships have formed here; families have grown up here.
The Log House family room features a variety of games and puzzles, ping pong, billiards and foosball--something for everyone. There is also a fireplace and big screen TV so you can catch the big game!
After a day of skiing or snowshoeing on the trails, relax by our unique, garnet stone fireplace where the fire is always cracklin'. Our porch lounge is the perfect spot for a bit of reading or conversation with an incredible view of 13th Lake.
In the spring, enjoy white water rafting on the Hudson River - Garnet Hill Lodge is only 10 minutes from several rafting companies and special B&B rates are available.
Summer is another special season on 'the Hill' - our private beach on 13th Lake is easily accessible and canoes and kayaks are available for guests to enjoy some lazy paddling. Hiking the trails is also popular -- visit the old Hooper Mine and dig for garnets; spot a moose on the William Blake Pond trail; or try the light climb to Peaked Mountain. A tennis court and mountain biking are other activities for you to enjoy.
In the fall trees turn shades of amber, russet, garnet and ruby-red. The weather is comfortable and the hiking is amazing.
Fall brings us back to winter and winter means cross country skiing and snowshoeing -- on the classic trail system Garnet Hill is famous for!
