Green Harbor is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. At Green harbor, we have motel units and housekeeping cottages. All motel rooms are air-conditioned. Cottages are fully equipped and can accommodate 2 to 8 people. The sandy beach provides pleasant swimming conditions with a gradual slope into the mountain lake. It is an ideal place for children. You can row,sail,canoe,kayack or motor boat past sandy coves, rock ledges and wooded islands, or cast your line for pike,bass,bullheads,perch and sunfish. You may want to sit and relax and watch a spectacular sunset from our beach. Free docking space on our boat dock.
You can walk into town for restaurants, shopping, churches, free tennis and basketball courts. Local attractions are state marked hiking trails, sightseeing plane and boat rides. We are just a short drive to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mt. And the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. You can also visit the Spinning Wheel gift shop on premises featuring hand-spun yarn, one of a kind hand knitted sweaters,etc. Also authentic Navaho and Zuni Indian sterling silver jewelry and Adirondack souvenirs. We are open Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.
