The idiots at swiss marine left the upper vent plug out of the gear case and it filled up with water. The owner, John denies they ever worked on it and claimed that it could run a couple years with water in it. we told them that we could see a little oil around the motor but they said it was just from when it was changed the year before. Then they got so mad that we hadnt had them do the service work on it when we winterized it today, they kicked us out of the marina. Our family has kept our boat there for over 40 years, way before they ever owned it. Read the reviews of these people, the reviews speak for themselves. They are rude and do not care about keeping people happy. Dont Do Business With Them. Period! This is not the first time we've been screwed over by them. We bought a brand new pontoon boat from them this summer and they pulled a bait and switch with the price. They gave us a price of $9500.00 and then when we went to sign the paperwork they said they made a mistake on the price and it was actually $10,500 but we could get a smaller boat for the cheaper price. They're not good people to deal with.

I went in while on vacation to have my carburetor rebuilt and after leaving got a call and they said I needed a new starter too...with some reluctance I OK doing it...the money was getting quite high for an old boat. A few minutes later they called saying they broke off a bolt in the engine...what should they do...more $$$. I decided it was getting to be just too much money for an old boat and my pocket book so said not to do any of it. When I picked it up and asked why they couldn't just do what was asked they got furious!!!! Yelling on the top of their lungs for about 10-15 minutes F... and S... was constantly used...putting down my boat and whoever worked on it before. The F... word was used at least 20 times!! I have NEVER been spoken to in such a rude outrageous manner. I know now why they had time to do the job immediately, unlike a few places I had gone to earlier in the day. I'm so glad no children were with me! Now my seat is taken out of the boat and the starter on the floor and a bolt broken in my engine for me to have fixed and horrible words and attitude that ended my vacation short. They even missed an opportunity to be nice and rent me a boat or maybe even sell me another boat and save their reputation and my vacation.
