Water's Edge Cottages. On Long Lake

Waters Edge Cottages are located 3/4 mile south of town ( still walking distance )
where you can relax and enjoy our peaceful lake front setting.

The cottages have fireplaces,screened porches, decks with BBQ, full kitchens,and full
baths.We also have cable TV,DVD's,WI-FI access,and heat and air conditioning are
standard on all units.

Plus the largest swim and boat docks in Long Lake are all right in front of you.( the
covered dock can come in handy once in a while) Fishing is pretty good off the docks
too.

Picnic tables and a separate common deck area are available to everyone. Also 2 outside
fire pits for night time stories and roasting marshmallows. Firewood is free. We have a sandy beach swimming area for little kids, or advanced swimmers can swim from our ample dock space.

We have 250 ft of lake front that looks out across Long Lake towards the nearby
mountains and spectacular sunsets.

I stayed at the Osprey with my 10 and 11 year old for 5 days in July 2010. We couldn't have had a more perfect vacation. The cottage was very clean and offered us everything we wanted. The living room, kitchen and bathroom were just remodeled. All possible cooking items were supplied, and I could guarantee that Tom and Lesley would have provided us with anything additional we would have asked for. The kids loved having their own spacious upstairs room. The downstairs bedroom was lovely, and had so many windows that I felt like I was sleeping outside. My kids loved having the lake right outside their cottage with constant access to swimming and fishing. It was was hard to get them to leave the premises to take advantage of the very many things there are to do in the area. This was our first visit to the cottages. Each of the other families we met have been coming for years. Tom and Lesley are very accommodating and gracious hots. I am certain that we will return next year.

This is the eighth year that we have vacationed at Water's Edge Cottages on Long Lake. Next year will be our 9 th year! Obviously we thoroughly enjoy being there. We have stayed at Loon, Osprey and Merganser Cottages . All the cottages are very clean, comfortable, well appointed and have great waterfront views. Tom and Leslie do an excellent job of maintaining the property and are extremely friendly and gracious to deal with. The Long Lake community is a beautiful small Adirondack town with easy access to all kinds of outdoor activities.

We return to Loon Cottage at Water's Edge every year. We have also stayed in Osprey Cottage. Cottages all have wonderful views of the lake and are cozy and comfortable. There are new furnishings this year and they are very attractive. The cottages have decks, fireplaces, plenty of wood, screen porches, and bbq grills. The dock has Adirondack chairs, perfect for sitting at the lake and enjoying a good book and a glass of wine. The owners, Tom and Lesley, do a great job taking care of the cottages and their guests. Long Lake is centrally located to many Adirondack activities. We are kayakers and there are numerous lakes, ponds, and streams to enjoy close by. Come to Long Lake and stay at Water's Edge. You won't be disappointed.
