Adirondack XC Skiing Trails

Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center- Operated by U.S. Olympic skier Olavi Hirvonen & his family for over 30 years! Fifty kilometers of scenic cross country ski & snowshoe trails surrounded by pristine Adirondack Forest Preserve. Named "Best in the Mid-Atlantic" & "Best XC Resort for Families!"

Garnet Hill Lodge- 40 miles of cross country trails in nearby North Creek, NY. Garnet Hill trails run throughout the area and connect to frozen ponds, streams and other winter routes. This makes for tons backcountry ski options!

Cunninghams Ski Barn- Offering private cross country trails in North Creek and Beaver Medows, NY! Cunninghams Ski Barn locations have been in serving the area since 1934. Stop by their North Creek location for more information and trail tickets!

The Northville-Placid Trails- This 132 mile long Northville-Placid trail enters the woods at Benson and crossing through the Adirondack towns of Lake Durant, Long Lake and Averyville. This trail is famous terrain suitable for all levels of skiing.

Stephens Pond, Cascade Pond and Tirrell Road- This Adirondack trail begins 3 miles east of the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake. It connects with trails to the Cascade Pond. All of these trails are ideal for cross country skiing.

Whortleberry Pond- This trail begins 7 miles east of Indian Lake. It does have some steep parts, so it may be suitable only for advanced cross country skiers.
