Saranac Lake NY – 50 years ago brasiers were not to be seen! Today, bras come in all colors and patterns. They are fashion statements and even works of art, at least in Saranac Lake!
The Art Annex, an art space in Saranac Lake, showed an exhibit entirely made up of Bra Art for the week of October 25th - 29th, 2010. Over 24 local artists contributed different works with themes ranging from nature to female empowerment!
The pieces displayed were as simple as adding a few embellishments to an existing bra to going as far as creating an elaborate bra sculpture.
Each piece was for sale and all proceeds went to support Breast Cancer research.
This event was a creative way to raise money for a great cause, while celebrating women!
