Description of Activities: Victoriam era natural History Museum founded in 1909. Contains collections of approximately 10,000 objects that include specimens of animals, rocks & minerals, fossils, some anthropological materials and an herbarium. A variety of group and public programs are offered, contact the museum for more information and scheduling. Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Group programs by appointment.

The museum also maintains a 125 acre nature preserve that is open year round from dawn to dusk . The preserve offers a variety of nature walks over a range of habitats that range in length from mile to almost 2 miles.
