The Slate Valley Museum has exhibits which celebrate and document the history of slate quarrying and the rich ethnic presence which shaped that history in the slate valley -- geological treasures, memorabilia, tools, machinery, photographs and art work. Open all year, Tuesday and Friday 1 to 5 PM, Saturday 10 to 4 PM.
