Occurring Annually - Late May to Early June.

The Race is 5 miles of safe, easy paddling. Come for competition or just for fun.

K1 - Solo kayak (14ft or shorter)

K1 - LONG solo kayak (any type)

K1 - WOMEN solo kayak (any type) women only

C1 - Solo canoe

C1 - MASTERS solo canoe, age, 40

C1 - WOMEN solo canoe, women only

C2 - Tandem canoe, two paddlers

C2 - MIXED Tandem canoe M/F team

C2 - WOMEN tandem canoe, women only

REC* - Two paddlers

REC ADULT/JR* over21/under15 team

REC - MIXED male/female team

*Recreational (REC) limited to tandem canoes 17' or shorter

STARTING AND REGISTRATION AREA

Feeder Dam Glens Falls: From the Adirondack Northway (I87) Exit 18: If coming from the south, turn right at the end of the exit ramp. If coming from the north, turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Approximately 1/2 mile from the Northway, turn right at the traffic light onto Richardson Street. Follow Richardson Street straight to the starting and registration area. Directions to the finish area, at Martindale Boat Basin, Hudson Falls, will be provided in registration materials.

PRE REGISTRATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Deadline for mailing entries is May 20. Registration will be open on the day of the race until 11:30 a.m. in the starting area. The entry fee is $15 per paddler or $25 per two person boat. A racers meeting will be held at 11:45 a.m. in the starting area. Coast Gaurd approved personal flotation devices are required for all participants! Alcoholic beverages are prohibited!
