LAKE PLACID NY -- Don’t miss the Lake Placid World Freestyle Cup, a part of the 2012 Freestyle FIS World Cup on January 19 - 21, 2012. You can watch some of the world’s top freestyle skiers take to the slopes for aerial and mogul skiing in Lake Placid and Wilmington NY.

With the exciting Mogul Competition at the Olympic Jumping Complex on Thursday followed by Friday and Saturday’s Aerial Competition on Whiteface Mountain, this is one world cup you won’t want to miss! Below is a list of dates and times for world cup events.

The FIS Freestyle World Cup tour stops in Lake Placid and Wilmington as it continues its Olympic-caliber ski and snowboard competitions in five of America's prestigious mountain communities. Other world cup locations this year include Aspen, CO, Beaver Creek, CO, Park City, UT, and Sunday River, ME.

You can watch the skier cross competition for free from the Whiteface base lodge while enjoying great live music - or purchase a lift ticket to enjoy the event up close and personal along the course.

Purchase your aerial freestyle ticket at Whiteface on Jan 19-21, at our special World Snow Day booth, for a special $6 off discount to either aerials events on Friday or Saturday nights. Included with each ticket to the aerial event, will be FREE snow tubing from 6-7:45 pm. As always, children 6 and under are FREE!
