An unattended campfire started a wildfire in the Adirondacks over the weekend that has burned almost 100 acres since the fire started spreading. DEC has a team of forest rangers on Bear Mountain today fighting the blaze.
Bear Mountain is in the town of Schroon, in Essex County. Hopefully the rain coming can help put this fire out before it spreads much further.
