I was searching for skiing options in the area when I noticed Gore Mountain 2017 – 2018 passes are already available – and, you can start using next year’s pass on March 10th.
But what really surprised me was the number of perks associated with the season passes.
Gore has several options for season passes – I’d probably go for the full on, Adult Full Season Ski3 option. The Ski3 allows you access to Whiteface and Belleayre Mountain, which is awesome, but if you’re only planning on skiing once in awhile you’d probably want to go for the “Gore only” option.
If you’re not sure how much skiing you’ll be doing or where, you could always opt for one of the less expensive options – they allow you to upgrade your pass at any time if you choose to. And, the earlier you buy, the more you save.
Do you cross-country ski, or snowshoe? Gore also has Nordic terrain with a number of trails, and any season pass option gets you access to this.
Here’s what’s really great though: the number of perks you automatically get when you buy a season pass. Here’s just a few that jumped out at me:
- 10% off snowmobile tour at C+C Adirondack Snowmobile Tours
- 10% off wine purchases at Adirondack Winery
- 10% off food bill at Garnett Hill Lodge
- 10% off retail purchases at Barkeater Chocolates
There are also discounts at local ski and snowboard shops, and shops right at Gore too.
If you live locally like I do, or maybe if you have a second home in the area, Gore season passes look like they’re definitely worth considering.
