The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) is planning a variety of great events and projects. What’s in store for the rest of 2015? Read on to find out!
In the spirit of work hard, play hard, this round-up of events kicks off with a chance to make Ticonderoga sparkle.
Community Clean Up Day will be taking place on May 16th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This event is being held in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, Town of Ticonderoga, PRIDE of Ticonderoga, Ticonderoga Kiwanis Club, Carillon Garden Club, Ticonderoga Central School, and area organizations and businesses, as well as community volunteers.
It’s a great opportunity to get outside and help keep Ticonderoga looking beautiful. There will be a variety of clean-up activities and community enhancements taking place throughout the day. And, the Carillon Garden Club will be working hard to plant flowers and give a fresh look to gardens throughout the community.
You can also recycle old electronics equipment from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at a drive run by Good Point Recycling of Middlebury, VT. They’ll be set up in back of the Old Rite Aid Parking lot near the LaChute Trail and will take most anything with a cord! Prices range from free to $10. (Note, Good Point does not accept appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, air conditioners and stoves.)
