2. Oak Mountain’s Halloween Party

Get a thrill walking through Oak Mountain’s scream-inducing Haunted House, dress in your best costume to try to win the costume contest, and rock out to live music by Willy Playmore Band!
3. Myths & Legends of the Adirondacks, Vol. 1

Old Forge
This group exhibition at View in Old Forge visually explores historical and modern myths of the Adirondack region, featuring new work by Stephen Fletcher, Peter Seward, Paula Ann Ford, Greg Klein, and more. It will run through April 3, 2016.
4. Felting: Nuno Collage Scarf

Lake Luzerne
Scarf season is upon us! Learn how to create your own scarf using the nuno felt technique, which was developed by instructor Robin Blakney-Carlson’s sister in the early 1990’s. This class is beginner-friendly, and students should bring 2 old towels and a heavy or waterproof apron.
Sunday, October 25
Saranac
The Johannes String Quartet will perform in concert on Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Saranac. Their program will feature “Homunculus” by Esa Pekka Salonen, “String Quartet No. 15 in D Minor, K. 421” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and “String Quartet No. 3 in B-flat Major, op. 67” by Johannes Brahms.
