Want to spend a week riding your bike through some of the most beautiful parts of the Adirondack Park? Cycle Adirondacks gives you the opportunity to do just that, and the scenic route for 2016 was recently announced!
This year’s week-long road bike tour is scheduled to take place August 20-27, and riders will start and end their journey in Hadley-Luzerne. From there, overnight stops will be made in Ticonderoga, Keeseville, Saranac Lake, Indian Lake, and Northville.
Forests, lakes, streams, and a wide variety of wildlife will be just some of the scenic elements riders will take in along the way. Experts will be on hand throughout the ride to offer details on wildlife and local history.
Feeling like you couldn’t possibly ride for a whole week? 3- and 4-day options are also available for those who are interested in a shorter journey.
