Inlet Barnstormers Annual Snowmobile Poker Run – Friday, January 20 & Saturday, January 21
Join the Inlet Barnstormers for their annual Snowmobile Poker Run this Friday and Saturday. Once you pick up a playing card from a participating sponsor, all you have to do is get it stamped from as many sponsors as possible for a chance to win the purse!
Snowshoe Race at Oak Mountain Ski Center – Sunday, January 22
If you love snowshoeing, then check out Oak Mountain Ski Center’s Snowshoe Race this Sunday! Participants can choose between a 10K and a 5K snowshoe race. The entry fee is $25 per person, and medals will be awarded to the best in each age class.

Mammal Tracking with Elizabeth Lee – Saturday, January 21
Spend time outdoors this Saturday at Poke-O-Moonshine Campground while you track mammals with Elizabeth Lee. This fun event is free to attend, and it will last for about 3-4 hours. Bring your snowshoes!
Take Your Kids to Gore Week – Saturday, January 21 – Friday, January 27
From January 21 through January 27, all children ages 19 and under can ski or ride at Gore Mountain for free with a full paying parent! Now is the time to plan a trip to Gore Mountain.

The Whallonsburg Grange in Essex will host Rusted Root’s Michael Glabicki with Dirk Miller this Friday! Tickets are $15 per adult and $10 for ages 10 and under. Advance reservations are recommended!
Creativity Uncorked! Paint & Sip – Saturday, January 21
Discover your creative side as you paint & sip this Saturday at Gore Mountain! Enjoy the comforts of Gore’s base lodge as you create your masterpiece. The course is $40 per person, and art supplies, snacks, and one beverage are included. Space is limited.
Learn Something New: XC Skiing, Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding
Lapland Ladies Love to Ski! – Saturday, January 21
Lapland Lake Nordic Center in Northville will host a special cross-country ski program for women and taught by women. For $50 per person, plus ski rentals if needed, female skiers of all skill levels will be able to receive instruction in ski technique and go skiing together.
For Women Only – Alpine Skiing Clinic – Saturday, January 21 & Sunday, January 22
Gore Mountain’s best female instructors will host an alpine skiing clinic tailored to women on both Saturday and Sunday. The clinic is open for lady alpine skiers ages 18+. The cost to attend both days is $244, while the one day option is $144.
For Women Only – Snowboard Clinic – Saturday, January 21 & Sunday, January 22
Learn how to snowboard at Gore Mountain’s clinic on both Saturday and Sunday! This special clinic is for women only, and it is open to beginners, intermediates, and advanced riders. The cost to attend both days is $244, while the one day option is $144.
