If you’ve been holding out on your spring visit to the Adirondacks, now is the time to get moving! The weather is warming up throughout much of the region, and there is no shortage of outdoor activities to check out. This weekend, some of the can’t-miss events include Adirondack Paddlefest, a townwide garage sale, and much more.
Hosted by Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company in Old Forge, the 2017 Adirondack Paddlefest and Outdoor Expo will feature over 1,000 canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards for sale. Recognized as the largest sale of its kind in the country, Adirondack Paddlefest includes big savings, demos, paddling clinics, lectures, food, and fun for the whole family.
As an alternative to the larger Adirondack Paddlefest in Old Forge, Frisky Otter Tours in Inlet will host their own “Otter” Paddlesports Event throughout the weekend. Join them for free kayak, canoe, stand-up paddleboard, and guideboat demos. There will be great sales and discounts on new and used boats and accessories.
