Halloween Events Throughout the Adirondacks
3rd Annual Halloween at the VIC – Friday, October 27
Visit the Paul Smith’s College VIC for their annual Halloween celebration on Friday starting at 4:00pm. There will be a nature inspired costume contest, cider pressing, pumpkin painting, haunted walks, ghost stories, and more fun for all ages.
Halloween Parade and Party in Inlet – Friday, October 27
Inlet will host their annual Halloween Parade and Party on Friday from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The parade will begin at the church parking lots and end at Inlet Town Hall. After the parade, everyone can head to the Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services Building for costume judging and treats.
Nettle Meadow Haunted Farm Tour – Friday, October 27 & Saturday, October 28
Head over to Warrensburg on Friday or Saturday of this weekend for Nettle Meadow Farm’s Haunted Farm Tour! Take a walk on the haunted trails, visit the creepy cabin, and get in the Halloween spirit.
HalloweenFest 2017 – Friday, October 27 – Tuesday, October 31
From Friday through Halloween (next Tuesday), local Ticonderoga businesses and organizations will be participating in HalloweenFest 2017. Explore the area and enjoy a wide variety of activities and events, including a magic show, a pumpkin walk, a house of horrors, parties, trick-or-treating, and more.
Trick & Zip – Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29
Enjoy a spooky zip line tour at Experience ADK Outdoors’ Trick & Zip event this weekend in Lake Placid. There will be trick-or-treating from treetop to treetop, cider potions, pumpkin carving, a haunted nature walk, and more. Tickets are selling fast!
Trek or Treat Hosted by the Star Trek: Original Series Set Tour – Saturday, October 28
Have a Spocktacular good time at the Star Trek: Original Series Set Tour’s Trek or Treat event on Saturday in Ticonderoga. Take the tour in your costume, and then stick around for a costume contest and Halloween party.
2nd Annual Nightmare on Main Street – Saturday, October 28
There’s a lot going on in North Creek this Saturday! The community will host the 2nd Annual Nightmare on Main Street from 11:00am-10:00pm, and some of the highlights include a Children’s Halloween Party at the Town of Johnsburg Library, trick-or-treating on Main Street, live music, scary movies, and more.
Mall-O-Ween at Champlain Centre Mall – Sunday, October 29
In Plattsburgh, Champlain Centre Mall will host Mall-O-Ween on Sunday from 1:30pm-4:30pm. This family-friendly event will feature safe indoor trick-or-treating for the kids, live entertainment, and a costume contest.

Saranac Lake ArtWorks Studio Tours – Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29
From Friday through Sunday, Saranac Lake area artists will open their workspaces and galleries to visitors for the Saranac Lake ArtWorks Studio Tours. These tours are self-guided, free, and a rare opportunity to see these local artists at work.
Scenic Fall Horse and Wagon Rides – Saturday, October 28
Get your tickets for Garnet Hill Lodge’s Scenic Fall Horse and Wagon Rides on Saturday from 4:30pm-5:30pm. These rides will take passengers through wooded trails and along peaceful dirt roads in North River. After your ride, you can join Garnet Hill for dinner and receive $5 off an entree.
