Fun For Paddling Enthusiasts
The Lake Placid Center for the Arts in Lake Placid will present a Paddling Film Festival on Friday night at 7:00pm. This one-night event will feature a range of films that explore rivers, lakes, and oceans. Admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Did you check out the Paddling Film Festival on Friday in Lake Placid? Interested in paddling this spring? Make your own paddle this year by attending Adirondack Folk School’s Paddle Making class taught by Caleb Davis on Sunday from 9:00am-5:00pm. The Folk School is located in Lake Luzerne.

Bring the kids over to Lake Placid Elementary on Saturday at 11:00am for a free Family Fun Carnival! There will be face painting, crafts, carnival games, and much more in the gymnasium.
On Saturday at 11:00am, the Ticonderoga Best 4th In The North Committee will host the 22nd Annual Ticonderoga Alumni Basketball Tournament at the local high school gymnasium. This basketball game will benefit the Best 4th In The North celebration. After the game, join the committee for the Best 4th In The North Night at the Pub, to be held at Madden’s Pub.
Visit Romano’s Saranac Lanes in Saranac Lake on Saturday for their own version of the triathlon! This event will feature bowling, pool, and darts, and there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Have a story to tell? Attend the Howl Story Slam on Friday night at the Old Forge Library! During this event, storytellers will take the stage and tell their best story in five minutes.
Head over to Ledge Hill Brewing Company on Saturday evening for a special Jazz Art Opening featuring Adirondack inspired paintings by local artist Jasmine Horn. Check out the artworks and enjoy some tasty brews too.
Enjoy a fantastic performance by magician and mentalist Craig Karges at the Strand Center Theatre in Plattsburgh on Saturday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. His combination of magic and psychology creates the impression that nothing is impossible!
Catch an exciting performance by Chicago-style blues legend John Primer & the Real Deal Blues Band at BluSeed Studios in Saranac Lake this Saturday at 7:00pm! Admission is $20.
