Each year, Ticonderoga organizations and businesses host a wide variety of events and activities during the week-long North Country Christmas. Some event highlights on the schedule include a rockin’ tree lighting, holiday hay rides, a shopping and dining night, and much more.

21st Annual Country Christmas Tour – Friday, November 23 & Saturday, November 24
Take a trip to Indian Lake on Friday and Saturday and have fun at their 21st Annual Country Christmas Tour. There will be family-oriented activities all around the community, such as visits from Santa Claus, a candy cane hunt, free movie at the Indian Lake Theater, and more. In addition, handmade crafts and holiday gifts will be available for purchase at the school gym and various locations around town.
10th Annual Holiday Stroll in Speculator – Friday, November 23
It will be a festive evening in Speculator on Friday! Beginning with a tree lighting at 4:30pm, the community will present their 10th Annual Holiday Stroll. Enjoy the Victorian carolers at 5:00pm and fantastic sales and gift certificate promotions at local businesses.
Witness a Spectacular Performance of The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker with North Country Ballet Ensemble – Friday, November 23 – Sunday, November 25
This weekend, the North Country Ballet Ensemble will present The Nutcracker at the SUNY Plattsburgh Hartman Theatre. NYC professional principal dancers and actors as well as regional dancers and performers will take the stage for this holiday classic.

5th Annual Santa Sprint – Saturday, November 24
The 5th Annual Santa Sprint will kick off on Saturday morning in Rouses Point! Santa and other holiday attire are welcomed and encouraged for this fun run. The race will begin at 9:00am, and funds raised will benefit North Country Honor Flight.
