Top 10 Events Worth Checking Out

Snocade is still going on in Indian Lake through Sunday. You’ll find snowmobiling events, a winter wonderland craft fair, a community snow sculpture, and more, including fireworks!
through Friday, February 22
Winter Wonderland Week is happening now through Friday in Long Lake. As with SnoCade, there are a ton of wintry activities happening, from sledding to skating to a bonfire and more.
Brew-Ski Fire & Ice Golf Tournament

Tupper Lake Golf Club is hosting a unique event that actually consists of two separate events. Brew-Ski involves skiing or snowshoeing to different brew stations along cross-country ski trails. The Fire & Ice Golf Tournament is a three person scramble playing five holes. Yes, get those golf clubs out of the garage! The Brew-Ski is $10, the golf is $60.

The Adirondack Snowshoe Fest is taking place at Dewey Mountain Recreation Center and Paul Smith’s College, in Saranac Lake and Paul Smiths respectively. If you love snowshoeing, this is the event for you.

Ice Fishing Derby on Indian Lake

You can participate in this Ice Fishing Derby for $40 in advance, or $45 the day of the event. There will be $4,500 given out in prizes in the categories of Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Brown Trout, and Land Locked Salmon.
