Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fun events come together Gore Mountain’s North Creek Ski Bowl. Another activity has been announced, and you can learn more about it at their upcoming party.
Skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts have enjoyed the impeccably groomed trails at the Ski Bowl for years. Now, fat tire biking has been added to the recreation center. This popular sport will be available on the cross-country trails on non-holiday Wednesday nights.
You can check out the trails yourself on Saturday, February 8th, at the Full Moon Party. There will be discounts, guided snowshoe treks, cross-country and downhill skiing, games, a bonfire, and the first full moon of 2020. You can also check out their Ski Bowl Citizens Races, which start on Tuesday of next week.
Fat tire bikes, also called fat bikes, are off-road bicycles with oversized tires designed for riding on unstable terrain like snow and mud. The sport has taken off in recent years, sparking events like Gurney Lane Fat Tire Bike Day in Queensbury.
