2022 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Poster Revealed
Event organizers for the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival have uncovered the “Totally 80s”-themed poster for the 2022 carnival. Cartoonist Garry Trudeau depicts classic Doonesbury characters J.J. and Mike, the DeLorean time machine set to February 4, 2022, and the Adirondack mountains.
Trudeau has signed 100 posters that cost $75 each (tax included, but there is a cost for shipping if you’re not able to pick up). These signed posters will be available for purchase starting January 10. Contact Jeff Dickson at casjdcksn@aol.com or 518.524.2731 if interested.
Additionally, there will be a raffle for signed poster #1. Raffle tickets cost $5 and will be available from Dickson from now through the first day of the Carnival, February 4. They’ll also be available at Carnival Headquarters at the Lake Flower Boat Launch during the Carnival.
And, unsigned posters are for sale at $17 each at Ampersound (52 Main Street), at the Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce (39 Main Street), and at Carnival Headquarters before and during the Carnival.
