The most recent iteration of the extreme snowmobiling video series, 509 Films: Volume 15, will be shown as a special presentation at View on January 22nd at 3 PM. The event is being sponsored by North Street Power Sports. To celebrate the event, View is offering FREE admission to the galleries, movie, and all other events on January 22nd.

The movie is Volume 15 from snowmobile brand 509 and pays tribute to series regular Rob Kincaid, who was killed in an avalanche while snowmobiling back in 2020. The 509 team rides “across the West, Midwest and Sweden to capture the best in the world in their natural element...searching for the next big jump or breathtaking view.”

As part ofthe festivities, View will have an Ice Bar and a fire in their Courtyard from 2 -5 PM. Grab a beer or a shot served in an ice cube and enjoy an Adirondack Winter Day that is sure to be memorable (fees required for all drinks). There will be access to View’s courtyard via snowmobile - check out a video posted on View’s Facebook page and website before the event to see where to go.

Prior to the movie on January 22nd, there will be a lecture at 1 PM by mountaineer and photographer Jonathan Zaharek. Zaharek will dive deep into his passion and the meaning behind what it means to be a Winter 46er, the history and meaning behind these mountains, and his story.

The View is open 10 AM – 4 PM Monday through Saturday. Gallery Admission is Free for View Members and $10 for guests. For further questions or more information, visit us at ViewArts.org or call (315) 369-6411.
