Old Forge Water Theme Park Changes Hands
The iconic Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge is changing hands in ownership after 46 years in operation from the Noonan family. It was sold to Innovative Attraction Management of Windermere, FL. The sale took place on March 1, according to a news release.
Enchanted Forest originally opened in the mid 1950s, after which Timothy Noonan purchased the park in the late 1970s. Since his ownership, he expanded it to become the largest water theme park in New York State with 50+ rides and attractions.
The new owners want to ensure everyone that they will keep the magic going at Enchanted Forest Water Safari for the future.
