Visit the local fire department in Newcomb this weekend and check out their Holiday Craft Fair! You’ll find all kinds of Adirondack-themed gifts that would be perfect for giving this holiday season. Santa Claus will make a special appearance at 1:00pm on Sunday.
Gifts From Nature with Roberta Games – Sunday, November 18
Make some handcrafted holiday gifts this year at the Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne. On Sunday, instructor Roberta Games will teach a class about Gifts From Nature at 1:00pm. Students will learn how to make pine cone flowers using natural mosses and twigs and decorate two frames.

LPCA Children’s Theatre: The Jungle Book – Thursday, November 15 – Saturday, November 17
Experience an extraordinary musical adventure as the LPCA Children’s Theatre presents The Jungle Book at Lake Placid Center for the Arts. The show will be performed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and tickets cost $10 for adults and $6 for students and children.

The Lonely Heartstrings Band is an award-winning bluegrass band that is nourished by deep roots in the expansive canon of traditional American music. The band will perform live at BluSeed Studios in Saranac Lake on Friday at 7:30pm.
Winter Sports Action Film at Indian Lake Theater – Saturday, November 17
The winter sports action film “Face of Winter” will be screened at the Indian Lake Theater this Saturday at 7:00pm. Presented by Warren Miller Entertainment, the film will take audiences on a journey to exotic destinations like Chile, Iceland, and New Zealand.
