Whitaker Falls is one of the many scenic elements of New York's Black River Valley.
Located in Whitaker Park, the falls are easy to get to, and require just a ten minute walk.
From Lowville, take NY 26 south to Martinsburg. Turn left onto Glendale Road (CR 32), and you'll see Whitaker Park on your left shortly thereafter.
Once you park, you must walk to the top of the falls, but the distance is less than a quarter mile.
