Christmas Events to Enjoy This Weekend
Christmas Dinner at Whiteface Lodge
December 25
Leave the holiday prep to the excellent chefs at Whiteface Lodge this year! The Lodge’s on-site luxury restaurant, Kanu, will have an amazing array of options, including a choice between veal chop with morel cream sauce and asparagus; black truffle pumpkin garganelli with whipped ricotta; or creamy scallop fricasse served with oyster mushrooms, vermouth, and fresh herbs as your main course.
Christmas Day Dinner Buffet at Garnet Hill Lodge
December 25
Visit Garnet Hill Lodge for the perfect holiday experience. You can warm up by the fire, sip a holiday cocktail, and gaze out at the snow covered mountains as you enjoy a delicious Christmas Day meal. Reservations are required for the dinner, so be sure to call ahead of time! The buffet is going to be stacked with delicious holiday food, including (of course) a huge assortment of Christmas cookies.

New Year’s Eve at Hotel Saranac
December 31
Visit Hotel Saranac for an evening of festivities beginning at 5:30 PM. The party will start in the Campfire Adirondack Grill + Bar and move to the Great Hall Bar as the evening progresses. Enjoy live music from the Silver Arrow band all evening long and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight!
2023 New Year’s Day Frostbite Cruise

Lake George Shoreline Cruises (renamed Lake George Waterfront Cruises as of the end of 2022) will be hosting their 36th annual Frostbite Cruise on the first day of 2023! Take a 90-minute cruise of Lake George and enjoy beer, wine, champagne, delicious food, and live music from Funk Evolution. It’s the best way to kick off the new year.
