Whiteface Club & Resort's Moose Lodge Boathouse

Established in the late 19th century, the Whiteface Club & Resort has a long, rich history as a one of region's premier resorts. Today it boasts a championship, 18 hole golf course, six har-tru clay tennis courts, a beautifully manicured wedding garden, an Adirondack banquet hall, and two diverse restaurants.

Of these two restaurants, The Moose Lodge Boathouse is the Club's most recent amenity. Situated on shores of Lake Placid, this restaurant provides a unique dining experience for all to enjoy. Whether sitting inside or outside on our large open deck, guests can be sure to get a true Adirondack experience with picturesque views of Whiteface Mountain, the high peaks, and many of the beautiful camps located along the shore line.

Whether looking for a great lunch or a casual dinner, guests will be sure to find something satisfying on our menu. With one of the best burgers in Lake Placid, the Moose Burger can conquer some of the biggest appetites. Other options include homemade chili, a heaping plate of nachos, a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a great assortment of salads just to name a few.

When it comes to dinner service, the Moose Lodge Boathouse provides a variety of options including a weekly feature designed by Executive Chef, Greg Sherman. Guests can find everything from dusted coriander Ahi Tuna, to a grilled prime sirloin, not to mention a chef's choice vegetarian option all accompanied with appropriate sides. Don't forget to check out the extensive wine list and be sure to ask your server what's on draft.

Finally, summertime would not be complete without some live entertainment on the water front. Every Wednesday night starting in July, come listen to some of Lake Placid's local talent while enjoying $3 drafts and $4 house margaritas. On Thursday nights, the Moose Lodge Boathouse features its signature "Steak on the Lake" entree and please join us every Wednesday through Sunday for great happy hour specials from 4-6pm.
