Osceola, NY: A Winter Wonderland In The Tug Hill Region

Just a short drive from Syracuse is Osceola, in the Tug Hill Region of New York. This area is known for its large snowfall accumulations during the winter months, making Osceola a great destination for many winter sports.

Cross country skiers can choose from trails in a number of parks within Osceola and the surrounding area, including the Osceola Tug Hill Cross Country Ski Center and Whetstone Gulf State Park. Keep in mind that these parks are also available for use during the summer months for hiking and camping.

If you need time out of the cold, Osceola is also home to the North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame.
