Are you currently or have you ever been a wrangler, barn boy, corral boss, trail guide, or any other helper at a private horseback riding stable or dude ranch in the Adirondacks? If so, the Adirondack Cowboy/Cowgirl Hall of Fame wants to know!
The Hall of Fame is seeking additions to its ever-growing Wranglers Honor Roll, a list that currently contains more than 450 names. The Hall’s mission is to include all those who have helped make the Dude Ranch Era important to the First Wilderness Territory of the Adirondacks from the late 1930’s to the present.
The Honor Roll will be framed and exhibited at the Lake Luzerne Gailey School House on Saturday, July 23, and also at the 4th Annual “Ranches, Rodeos, and Wranglers” Recognition Day at the Painted Pony Longhorn BBQ Pavilion on Sunday, July 24.
If you meet the aforementioned criteria, call 518-696-7184 to be added to the Honor Roll or to confirm that you’re already listed.
