The Race Course in Saratoga sees big names both in the grandstands and coming out of the starting gate. Don't be intimidated - you can be a part of all the excitement in a place where beginner's luck is just as important as seasoned advice. The 2024 Saratoga meet begins Thursday, July 11 and concludes Monday, September 2. Please note that during the 2024 meet, the track will be dark on both Mondays and Tuesdays, except for closing weekend.​

  • Gates open at 11 a.m. every day of the 2024 summer meet, with the exception of Travers Day when gates open at 7 a.m.
  • First post time is 1:10 p.m. every racing day with the following exceptions:
    • 11:40 a.m. on Travers Day (August 24)
    • 12:35 p.m. on Whitney Day (August 3)
    • 12:40 p.m. on Closing Weekend (August 31 - September 2)

Admission tickets are sold at the gate upon entry into the track or in advance through Ticketmaster.

  • 2024 Admission (Single Rate for Grandstand and Clubhouse Access): $7 In Advance and $10 Day Of
  • 2024 Travers Day Admission: $25 In Advance and $30 Day Of

The change to just general admission entry and no longer having the clubhouse admission is bad for decades long customers like myself who enjoyed watching from the bench’s in the apron area of the clubhouse
Now with your admission changes I as a single entry would have to rent a table for 2 in the porches area and be subject to food and beverage up charges of which I will not partake in ( food is terrible)
On top of that the benches in the apron area were removed
As a 40 year customer I must say the admission ticketing changes have made things much worse for customers like myself
