About this event
Come on a guided bird walk on this beautiful property in the midst of migration. Crown Point State Historic Site boasts observations of over 230 species! With its diverse habitats and breeding bird populations, it is listed as an important Birding Area (IBA). The walk will last approximately 3-4 hours and roughly 2 miles.
NEED TO KNOW: This is a morning walk in May, so dress warmly. Early Spring is pretty chillly! Please wear comfortable shoes and bring insect repellent and binoculars. A spotting scope is optional, but we’ll have a couple we can share. Bring snacks and water if you desire.
DIRECTIONS: The address is 21 Grand View Drive Crown Point. Meet at the main parking area in front of the museum.
REGISTRATION: Spacing is limited! Please email Stacy Robinson: maplemeadows@hotmail.com to reserve your spot!
