Mystique! Murder! Mayhem! The ACME Mystery Co. returns to View for an evening of dining, decadence and deadly fun in their Roaring Twenties-era mystery, 'Dead Silent: Florence of Moravia.' Wine, dine and rub shoulders with celebrities of old Hollywood in Gould Hall at View in Old Forge, NY on Saturday, April 27th at 6:00pm.
The evening of mystery and mayhem kicks off with a cash bar at 6pm, and once you step into Gould Hall, it’s 1927 and local radio personality, Nevelle Haspin has invited you to the broadcast of a gala reception for silent film diva, Lorraine Bowes, who is making a film portraying hometown hero and notorious WWI spy, Florence Goode, a.k.a. Hata Mahma. Joining Lorraine--if he’s sober--will be her leading man, Roland DeHay, and Lorraine’s agent, Harold “Hawk” Toohey. Arriving without an invitation is nationally syndicated gossip columnist, Helena Handbasquet. Be careful. These celebrities autograph with poisoned pens!
