The ‘Round the Mountain Canoe & Kayak Race is the unofficial kickoff event of the Adirondack paddling season!
Maximum # of participants per team is 8.
Boat Classes: This race offers a variety of boat classes, described in detail here (scroll down the page to "Rules & Specs"). Any class with fewer than 3 boats will be combined with another class at race director's discretion.
Every racer must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal floatation device (PFD). This PFD must be worn at all times. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fee. Note: Any Coast Guard-approved inflatable PFD satisfies this requirement, ensuring that a PFD will not restrict performance.
MEMBER DISCOUNT: NFCT Members receive a 15% discount. Code required. Become a member at the NFCT store. Current members can get a code by emailing info@northernforestcanoetrail.org.
REFUND POLICY: Full refund up to 48 hours before the race, 50% refund within 48 hours, 0% refund for day of cancellation.
