The acclaimed violinist returns in a program of Polish masterworks---and a rendering of the de Beriot concerto that Sembrich herself performed at the Metropolitan Opera in 1884. Other selections on the program include Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28, Kreisler’s Three Old Viennese Dances and Polish masterworks by Henryk Wieniawski and Grażyna Bacewicz, accompanied by Alla Milchtein.
Polish-American Kinga Augustyn is a versatile New York City-based virtuoso concert violinist and recording artist. “Beyond amazing, one hell of a violinist!” (The Fanfare Magazine).
Followed by a lakeside reception.
