As of March 24, the Comfort Inn in Lake Placid is now the Quality Inn. While ownership will stay the same, there are many other changes in the works!
Lake Placid News reports that the name change and re-branding effort was “a good fit” for the hotel, according to co-owner Patrick Butler. Both the Comfort Inn and Quality Inn brands are owned by the same parent company, Choice Hotels.
Renovations are already underway, with one of the biggest completed projects being the installation of new televisions. Within the next year, the hotel plans to add new beds, furniture, carpet, paint, and bathroom vanities as well.
When all is said and done, the Quality Inn will offer the same great proximity to Lake Placid attractions, but with added amenities and a new, modern feel.
