After undergoing extensive improvements and upgrades, Ticonderoga’s Super 8 will be having a grand re-opening celebration next week!
The recent renovations and upgrades to the 39-room hotel include:
- Repainting of all rooms
- New carpet throughout the entire property
- New mattresses in all king size rooms
- Upgrades to the Wi-Fi and security systems
- Installation of new heating and air conditioning units
In addition, the hotel’s entire staff is new. Manager Amber Elethorp said in a statement, “The upgrades have allowed us to offer a significantly improved product to the public. We have a great new team here and I am looking forward to what the future will bring to the property and to Ticonderoga.”
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting for the Super 8 on Thursday, August 20 at 4:30pm at the hotel on Wicker Street in Ticonderoga. Light refreshments will be served.
In honor of its grand re-opening celebration, the hotel will offer area businesses and community members a chance to see firsthand all of the renovations and upgrades that have been made to the property. Tours of the Super 8 will be provided from 4:45pm – 5:15pm, and attendees will also be able to meet the local and regional Super 8 Team at that time.
