To show its commitment to supporting the local economy and to encourage others to do the same, the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) recently announced that it is launching a new “Think Local” campaign.
The tagline of the campaign is “Think Local! Shop! Spend! Support! Your Community – Your Future,” and a logo with the slogan (pictured above) will begin to be seen throughout the Ticonderoga area.
The Chamber is using this campaign to educate visitors and locals on the importance of supporting the area’s economy and to promote the community itself. Some of the avenues the Chamber plans to use include a promotional flyer (10 Reasons To Think Local), an updated social media presence, and partnerships with local businesses and employers.

Spending locally helps support local job creation, benefits the area’s charitable causes, and helps to boost, strengthen, and maintain the community. The Chamber will be collecting and analyzing statistics on Supporting Local, and will be sharing them with the community throughout the next year.
