Interested in photography? Acclaimed Adirondack photographer Carl Heilman II will be teaching a class for beginners at the Adirondack Folk School. Learn the basic principles and work hands-on with one of the best.
3. Crux Spring Thaw Climbing Competition

The Crux’s 5th annual competitive rock climbing competition will take place Saturday afternoon. Anyone ages 14 and above can participate in the event and win awesome prizes and raffle giveaways!
4. Hadley Maple in April Festival
Saturday, April 30 – Sunday, May 1
Hadley
Hadley’s two-day maple festival is perfect for the whole family! Activities and attractions include geocaching, a petting farm and pony rides, and food vendors serving real Adirondack Maple Syrup. Don’t forget to check out the live birds of prey on Sunday!
5. Annual Fire & Spice Festival – Old Forge

The Thendara Golf Club will be hosting the annual cooking competition for both amateur & professional chefs. Members of the public can sample the entries and vote for their favorite!
