Take part in a celebration that will make your Independence Day unforgettable! The Town of Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership have partnered to prepare a full weekend of fun from Friday July 1st to Monday July 4th, including fireworks, rides, food, vendors and games.

Ticonderoga’s annual Best 4th In The North Celebration is back, and this year’s theme is “Hometown Pride-Think Local”. There will be music, food, games and fun for the whole family. This celebration attracts numerous tourists as well as the residents of Ticonderoga every year, which helps to support many local businesses as well as the economy of the town.
The Best 4th in the North will kick off on Friday July 1st from 4:00pm-10:00pm. For the duration of the celebration expect food, vendors, and rides in Bicentennial Park. New vendors, food providers, games and rides have been added to this event, so be sure to come and check it out! Bracelets that allow entry to the event can be purchased for $20.00 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm for the first three days of the festival.
Live bands will perform many different genres of music throughout the celebration. Attendees can expect to hear classic and modern rock, country, alternative rock, and even original music!

All of the events are open to the public and take place in Bicentennial Park unless otherwise stated. Donations to benefit the fireworks are appreciated, and it should be noted that times and locations for specific happenings have the potential to change.
If you are interested in joining the parade, parade applications, plus rules and regulations are available at www.best4thinthenorth.com or at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Office. Applications can be returned to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1, Ticonderoga, New York 12883 and must be returned by June 30, 2016. There is no charge for participation in the parade.
