Hadley Fire Tower Celebrates 100 Years – Saturday, July 15
One of the most historic fire towers in the Adirondacks is the Hadley Mountain fire tower, and this year is its 100th anniversary. Join the community at the trailhead and on the mountain this Saturday for celebratory giveaways and photos. The party will continue at the Hadley Town Hall later that afternoon.
Historic Walking Tours at White Pine Camp – Saturday, July 15
Have you ever wanted to explore an ADK Great Camp? Stop by White Pine Camp in Paul Smiths this Saturday for a historic walking tour! Tours are approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes long and include the history of the camp and colorful stories about the owners. Tickets are just $12 for adults and $6 for children.
US Waterski Show Team in Long Lake – Saturday, July 15
Get ready for the exciting 6th annual US Water Ski Show Team Exhibition in Long Lake this Saturday! Demonstrations will kick off at 10:00am, and then the show will start at 3:00pm. Admission is free, so don’t miss out on this exclusive performance. It promises to knock your socks off!
Tupper Lake Warrior Run – Saturday, July 15
The annual Tupper Lake Warrior Run has a new venue this year – Raquette River Brewing Company! Participants will start the 4-mile obstacle course at the brewery and then make their way around the area to the finish line. After the race, everyone can enjoy an afternoon of live music, good food, and tasty craft beer.

Located in the historic Warrensburg Mills District, this festival will feature tastings, a wide variety of food from area farmers, and much more.
Riverview Arts and Crafts Festival – Saturday, July 15
Visit the Town of Lake Luzerne this Saturday for the annual Riverview Arts and Crafts Festival going on at Pavilion Park from 9:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free, and the festival will include over 40 unique craft vendors as well as a huge library book sale under the pavilion. Stop by for food and fun!

14th Annual Adirondack Challenge Golf Tournament – Friday, July 14
The Nathan Littauer Foundation will host the 14th annual Adirondack Challenge Golf Tournament at the Lake Pleasant Golf Course this Friday. The format is the ever-popular “scrambled” scramble with an 8:00am shotgun start. Attendees can sign up for the tournament or just participate in the lunch/networking event at the Inn at Speculator.
Paws Cause 2017 – Sunday, July 16
Support the North Country SPCA this Sunday by attending Paws Cause at Marcy Field in Keene Valley. This fundraiser event will feature acclaimed magician Gary Ferrar, a DJ, silent auction, cash bar, buffet dinner, and more. Proceeds benefit the North Country SPCA’s no-kill animal shelter in nearby Elizabethtown.
6th Annual Ride for the River – Sunday, July 16
Enjoy cycling? Join your fellow riders for the 6th annual Ride for the River fundraiser in Wilmington this Sunday! This family-friendly ride is a celebration of the Ausable River, and funds raised will help support the Ausable River Association’s stream restoration projects. Following the ride, there will be an after-party at Hungry Trout Resort.
