For the second year in a row, two of the most popular treasure hunters, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of History Channel’s “American Pickers,” are returning to New York State this September. Known for their interest in unique collections and learning the stories behind them, they are looking for potential leads throughout the state where they can go antique “picking” and film new episodes.

What Is “American Pickers?”
History Channel’s “American Pickers” is a documentary series that combines antique “picking” with storytelling. It follows the duo of Mike and Frank as they travel the U.S. in search of rusty gold and collections that are sizeable and truly one-of-a-kind.
Their mission is to discover antiques they have never seen before and rescue forgotten relics from packed garages, dusty storage rooms, private warehouses, and more.
However, just as important as the antiques they find are the people who own them. The Pickers enjoy meeting new characters and hearing how all of these different collections formed over the years.
The Pickers In New York State
In September 2017, the showrunners plan to film new episodes of the hit series in New York State. “American Pickers” has filmed in the state a few times, and one of the most notable collections they’ve found was an old farm with 14 trailers full of antiques.
This time around, Mike, Frank, and the rest of the team are ready to discover even more extraordinary items in the region and hear the stories behind them.
If you or someone you know has a private collection with antiques they’d be willing to sell, then now’s the time to contact “American Pickers.” All you have to do is send your name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST.
Who knows, the Pickers may soon come to a community near you!
