Cycle Adirondacks – Saturday, August 19 – Friday, August 25
The 2017 Cycle Adirondacks bike tour is scheduled to begin this weekend, and it’s set to be an unforgettable experience for all of the riders. This year, the tour will travel from Schroon Lake to Saranac Lake and back. During the trip, riders will get to enjoy scenic views and a wide range of amenities, including gourmet locally-sourced dining, nightly entertainment, camp services, and more.
OLGA Memorial Footrace – Saturday, August 19
One of Saranac Lake’s traditional summer events will take place this Saturday – the OLGA Memorial Footrace. Over the past 19 years, this 10K run and 5K walk has supported multiple community causes. Sign up for one of the races and support the Saranac Lake Youth Center and the Rotary Club of Saranac Lake this year.
Gary Rudd Memorial Golf Tournament – Sunday, August 20
The Inlet Golf Club will host the Gary Rudd Memorial Golf Tournament on Sunday morning with registration at 7:30am and a shotgun start at 8:30am. The tournament is limited to the first 144 golfers, and awards and prizes will be given out at the end. Funds raised will go toward emergency services in the Inlet/Eagle Bay area.

Caroga Lake Music Festival – Today Through Sunday, August 20
It’s the final week of the 6th annual Caroga Lake Music Festival, and there are only a few concerts left to check out. The festival’s final performance will take place on Sunday evening at Hawthorne Valley School Hall. Don’t miss it!
169th Annual Essex County Fair – Today Through Sunday, August 20
Fair season is still underway in the Adirondacks! Bring the whole family to the Essex County Fairgrounds in Westport for the 169th annual Essex County Fair. This fun-filled event features animal exhibits, awesome food, exciting shows, rides, and other activities.
9th Annual Adirondack Plein Air Festival – Today Through Saturday, August 19
During the Adirondack Plein Air Festival, fifty professional artists will come to Saranac Lake to paint the Adirondacks for five days. During the event, there will be various events taking place in the community, culminating with a Show & Sale on Saturday from noon to 5:00pm.
Adirondack Folk School Summer Craft Festival – Saturday, August 19
Take a trip to the Town of Lake Luzerne this Saturday for Adirondack Folk School’s Summer Craft Festival and browse dozens of local craft and food vendors. There will also be live music, a kids’ zone, and more.
Tupper Lake Masonic Flea Market & Craft Fair – Friday, August 18 – Sunday, August 20
The annual Tupper Lake Masonic Flea Market & Craft Fair is one of the community’s most popular summer events. Offering something for everyone, this fair is a unique blend of barter, trade, and true salesmanship. The market will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Bountiful Harvest Festival at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market – Friday, August 19
Enjoy food samples, get new recipes, and have a fun time at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers’ Market’s Bountiful Harvest Festival on Friday from 3:00pm-6:00pm. A wide range of local produce and products will be for sale as well, such as veggies, fruits, preserves, plants, meats, and more.
Ticonderoga Area Farmers’ Market – Just Passin’ Thru Band & Sun Catchers Craft – Saturday, August 19
Visit the Ticonderoga Area Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 10:00am-1:00pm for great local produce, live entertainment, and activities. The Just Passin’ Thru Band will perform bluegrass music, and families will be able to make crafts together.
