Farm 2 Fork Festival 2017 – Saturday, September 2
The Farm 2 Fork Festival in Saranac Lake is an annual celebration of the region’s local bounty. This year, the festival will happen at Riverside Park and feature demonstrations, workshops, and of course, lots of tasty produce and food to try. Tickets go on sale at 10:30am, and the event kicks off at 11:00am.
Saranac Beer Tasting – Saturday, September 2
Join the Raquette Lake Navigation Company for a special Saranac Beer Tasting cruise this Saturday at 1:30pm. The event will include appetizers, generous pours, and live music. Reservations are appreciated, and seating is limited to 75 people.

Plein Air Paint Out & Art Auction – Thursday, August 31 – Saturday, September 2
Enjoy two great arts events at View Arts Center this weekend in Old Forge! From Thursday through Saturday, artists may participate in a Plein Air Paint Out. Then, at 5:30pm on Saturday, visitors can head to View Arts Center for the Plein Air Art Auction for a chance to own a piece of original Adirondack art.
9th Annual HoboFest – Sunday, September 3
Celebrate American roots culture and the independent hobo spirit at Saranac Lake’s 9th annual HoboFest at Riverside Park. The music festival will begin at noon and run through the evening, featuring Shamrock Jam, Bucket Ruckus, Scarsdale Vibes, and more bands. Admission is free.
Celebrate Labor Day Weekend
128th Labor Day Celebration in Port Henry – Saturday, September 2 & Sunday, September 3
Head over to Port Henry this weekend for their 128th Labor Day Celebration! The schedule of events includes the Port Henry Regatta, the Mutton Hollow Parade, fireworks, and more activities. Admission is free to all of the events.
Long Lake Labor Day Chicken BBQ & Fireworks – Saturday, September 2
The annual Long Lake Labor Day Chicken BBQ & Fireworks will be held at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion from 4:00pm-9:30pm this Saturday. Food will be served until it is all gone, and there will also be a performance by the Fulton Chain Gang.
Labor Day Weekend Celebration in Old Forge – Sunday, September 3
Visit Old Forge on Sunday for an exciting Labor Day Weekend Celebration! Highlights include live music by The Paul Case Band, an automobile raffle, and fireworks over Old Forge Pond. If you arrive early at noon, you can participate in the 7th annual CAP-21 Duck Derby.
35th Annual Olympic Car Show & Parade – Sunday, September 3
Don’t miss out on Lake Placid’s 35th annual Olympic Car Show & Parade at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval. The parade will travel along Main Street at 11:45am, and then the car show will begin on the Skating Oval at noon. The show is open to all years, makes, and models.

Wilmington Mountain Bike Festival – Friday, September 1 – Sunday, September 3
Wilmington’s first Mountain Bike Festival is taking place this weekend over the course of three days. The celebration will include on-site camping for the riders, live music, local food and beer, bike demos, group rides for all abilities, and more. On-site registration will be available.
Oak Runner Mountain Trail Run – Sunday, September 3
Feel like taking on a challenging run this weekend? Try the Oak Runner Mountain Trail Run at Oak Mountain in Speculator! The 5K trail run features rugged terrain and is always tons of fun for the competitors. Registration closes at 8:45am on race day.
