Go Antiquing This Weekend
Antiques Show and Sale at Adirondack Experience – Saturday, September 16
Browse and shop a wide range of dealers at the Adirondack Experience’s Antiques Show and Sale on Saturday. You’ll be able to find everything from historical fine art to rare books, antique sporting goods, folk art, taxidermy, oriental rugs, and American jewelry and crafts. Entrance to the show and sale is included in general museum admission. A Benefit Preview will be held the night before on Friday, September 15.
Indian Lake’s Adirondack Mountains Antiques Show – Wednesday, September 13 – Sunday, September 17
Join the Town of Indian Lake for the multi-day Adirondack Mountains Antiques Show! Dealers will be set up throughout the center of the community, and products will include camp furniture, hunting and fishing antiques, boats, taxidermy, antlers, and more.

Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers Market: Apple Festival – Friday, September 15
This Friday is the Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers Market’s annual Apple Festival! From 3:00pm-6:00pm, stop by and enjoy delicious apple products, an Apple Dessert Contest, and live music by Mac Petrequin.
Adirondack Harvest Festival – Saturday, September 16
Celebrate the season’s crop at the Adirondack Harvest Festival this Saturday at the Essex County Fairgrounds. A special Farm to Fest Hike will kick off at 9:00am, and then visitors will get to enjoy live music, locally-produced food and brews, and more at the fairgrounds from 11:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free.
Inlet’s Fall Festival – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17
Head to Inlet for their 24th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday and Sunday! Over 50 vendors will be offering their goods at Fern Park, from rustic furniture to clothing, jams, jewelry, and more. The festivities will also include an activity zone for kids, live music, and other entertainment.
Taste of Fall Festival – Friday, September 15 – Sunday, September 17
Old Forge Camping Resort will be hosting one of their most popular events of the season this weekend – the Taste of Fall Festival. Some of this year’s highlights will include the 15th anniversary of the Camper’s Cook-Off, special vendors, crafts, and family activities.
40th Annual St. Augustine’s Applefest – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17
Get ready for fall fun at St. Augustine’s annual Applefest celebration in Peru on Saturday and Sunday. The parade will take place on Saturday, and both festival days will feature live music, a giant craft fair, food and treats, games, and entertaining shows.

Rum-Runner’s Weekend – Friday, September 15 & Saturday, September 16
Join a celebration of the rich, Prohibition-era history of Chestertown, Brant Lake, and Pottersville during their 6th Annual Rum-Runners’ Weekend. This unique event will feature a Casino Night, a classic car parade, free carriage rides, and other activities.
Teddy Roosevelt (TR) Weekend in Newcomb – Friday, September 15 – Sunday, September 17
TR Weekend is a celebration of Teddy Roosevelt’s connection to the local community and is considered the Town of Newcomb’s premier event of the year. The theme for this weekend will be “Anniversary of World War I,” and there will be tons of indoor and outdoor activities going on all throughout Newcomb, such as a fishing derby, demonstrations, rides, nature walks, and more.
Spend Time in the Great Outdoors
13th Annual Paddle for the Cure – Saturday, September 16
Help raise funds for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY by taking part in the Paddle for the Cure event at Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company in Old Forge. You can either bring or rent a canoe/kayak. Registration begins at 9:30am, and the paddle starts at 10:00am.
Course the Wall Trail Run Festival – Sunday, September 17
Lace up your running shoes this Sunday for the Course the Wall Trail Run Festival at Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center in Northville. Participants can take on the 5K or the 9K trail run along Lapland Lake’s private trail system. A non-competitive 1K run/walk will also be offered. Entry fee includes a post-race BBQ party and live music.
