14th Annual Wilmington Festival of Colors – Saturday, September 9
The leaves are starting to change color, so head over to Wilmington this Saturday and celebrate the arrival of fall at their 14th Annual Festival of Colors. This hometown festival will take place at the local Tee-Ball Field from 10:00am-5:00pm and feature local artists, produce growers, bakers, crafters, and more entertainment.
Old Forge BrewFest – Saturday, September 9
View Arts Center will host the 2017 BrewFest (Craft Beer Festival) at the North Street Pavilion in Old Forge. The festival will run from 12:00pm-4:00pm and feature over 60 releases from some of America’s best craft breweries. Attendees will receive three hours of sampling plus a souvenir sampling glass to take home.
30th Annual Rustic Furniture Fair – Saturday, September 9 & Sunday, September 10
Visit the Adirondack Experience in Blue Mountain Lake on Saturday and Sunday for their 30th Annual Rustic Furniture Fair! You’ll have the opportunity to see unique interpretations of handcrafted furniture, furnishings, and Adirondack paintings. Entrance to the fair is included in general museum admission.
21st Annual Craft Fair Sponsored By Newcomb’s Mountain Quilters – Saturday, September 9
Stop by the Newcomb Town Hall for Newcomb’s Mountain Quilters’ 21st Annual Craft Fair. A variety of handmade craft items and baked goods will be available for purchase from 10:00am-4:00pm on Saturday.

The Adirondack Canoe Classic: 90 Miler – Friday, September 8 – Sunday, September 10
Come watch as the Adirondack Canoe Classic kicks off this Friday in Old Forge! Paddlers competing in this race will follow a 90-mile route from Old Forge to Saranac Lake over the course of three days. The race will conclude on Sunday at the NYS Boat Launch on Lake Flower, and there will be a ceremonial dinner afterward.
IRONMAN 70.3 Series in Lake Placid – Sunday, September 10
The 28th race in the IRONMAN 70.3 U.S. Series is happening this Sunday in Lake Placid. This triathlon will lead athletes through a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1-mile run on the same course as the IRONMAN Lake Placid. This competition will offer 35 slots to the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.

Otis Mountain Get Down – Friday, September 8 – Sunday, September 10
Kick off September with a three-day music festival in the Adirondacks! The Otis Mountain Get Down in Elizabethtown always features a mix of genres and artists with an emphasis on quality, diversity, and spirit. Over 20 performers are scheduled to take the stage throughout the weekend.
The Woods Tea Company at Adirondack Lakes Center For The Arts – Saturday, September 9
Plan a trip to the Adirondack Lakes Center For The Arts in Blue Mountain Lake for a concert by The Woods Tea Company. This folk group is based in Vermont and is known for mixing traditional and modern music styles. The concert will begin at 7:30pm.

29th Annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show – Thursday, September 7 – Sunday, September 10
One of the biggest car shows in the North Country is taking place this weekend in Lake George – the Adirondack Nationals Car Show! Check out Lake George Village and the Fort William Henry Museum to see all of the classic cars lined up. Don’t miss the cars as they cruise down Canada Street during the evening.
