Adirondack Alps Festival Weekend – Friday, October 20 – Sunday, October 22
Visit Lake Clear Lodge & Restaurant in Lake Clear for their Adirondack Alps Festival Weekend! This event is a celebration of the Old World and the Adirondacks, and activities and classes will include a Schnitzel Bar, an Ancient Roots of Beer Workshop, a 3-Course Tasting Dinner, and more. Participants can sign up for the day or the whole weekend.
Fall Fun Festival at Lakeside School – Saturday, October 21
All families are invited to attend the fall festival at Lakeside School in Essex this Saturday. During the festival, children and their parents will be able to enjoy a scavenger hunt, cider pressing, music and singing, and other fun activities.

Concert By Country Music Star Lucas Hoge – Friday, October 20
Country music star Lucas Hoge will perform live at the Strand Center For the Arts in Plattsburgh on Friday night from 7:00pm-9:30pm. Hoge is an accomplished musician who engages listeners with his warm, evocative vocals and emotional authenticity. Tickets range from $15-$25.
9th Annual Soup R’ Bands – Saturday, October 21
Head to Lake George this Saturday and enjoy live bands and delicious food at the 9th Annual Soup R’ Bands at Roaring Brook Ranch. Fantastic local restaurants will be donating soup for the competition, and there will be a huge raffle, a silent auction, and more. The cost to attend is $25 at the door.
Attend Fun Fundraisers
TACC Ambassador Mini-Golf Fundraiser – Friday, October 20
This Friday, the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will host a family-friendly Mini-Golf Fundraiser that will include glow-golf, trivia, complimentary snacks, and more. A cash bar will be available for adults 21 and older. Tickets are $15 per person (ages 13 and up) and $10 per student/child (up to age 12).
Tailgate Treasures Garage Sale – Saturday, October 21
Join Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne for their “bring-your-own garage sale” called Tailgate Treasures! Once you’ve registered, you can pack your car with goods and park at the school during the sale from 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturday. Each spot in Adirondack Folk School’s parking lot costs $10.
Stay Active This Weekend
19th Annual Great Sacandaga 10K Run – Saturday, October 21
Feel like taking a scenic run along the Great Sacandaga Lake? Register for the 19th Annual Great Sacandaga 10K Run on Saturday at Sport Island Pub in Northville. The race will kick off at 10:30am, and all runners will get to enjoy a post-race buffet.
Triad Challenge – Saturday, October 21
Head north to Big Tupper Brewery in Tupper Lake for their first ever Triad Challenge on Saturday. Participants will run, walk, or crawl up three local mountains as fast as they can. The $30 entry fee includes a race t-shirt, lunch, and a pint of beer following the race.
